Lipofectamine® LTX in the presence of PLUS™ Reagent is an excellent choice for transfection of human cancer cell lines as well as primary and stem cells. The reagent enables the delivery of high transfection performance without associated cytotoxicity NCI60 cell lines are a panel of 60 human cell lines derived from cancers of 9 tissue origins. They have been invaluable in vitro models for cancer research and in anti-cancer drug screens. Extensive studies have been carried out to assess molecular features of NCI60 cells lines related to cancer and their sensitivities to more that 100,000 chemically defined compounds and natural product extracts.
