Antimycotic Solution is a 50mL 100x solution designed to aid researchers in reducing risks of contamination. It consists of 250μg/ml amphotericin B and 250μg/ml of sodium deoxycholate in saline solution. The amphotericin serves to make the fungal cell wall more permeable, making it susceptible to the leakage of its inner contents. 1mL of Antimycotic Solution is to be used for every 99mL of medium. The solution is sterile filtered through a 0.2μm membrane filter.
