核提取试剂在转录因子研究中被用于制备核提取产物。该试剂可用于提取96孔板培养的细胞200次，100mm培养皿培养细胞50次。试剂可用于提取软组织样本（脑、肾脏、肝脏等），但是需要将细胞从组织中充分释放。
